Schmitz refrigerated trailer is a premium temperature-controlled semi-trailer engineered for European long-haul cold chain logistics. Featuring Schmitz Cargobull's patented Ferroplast® composite panels (110mm insulation thickness, thermal conductivity λ≤0.019W/(m·K)), it maintains precise temperature ranges from -30°C to +30°C with ±0.3°C stability. Equipped with Carrier Transicold Vector 1550 MT or Thermo King SLXi 300 refrigeration units, it integrates IntelliLight LED temperature control system and SmartGuard anti-theft technology. Standard configurations include BPW EcoPlus axles, WABCO OptiTire tire pressure monitoring, and TrailerConnect® telematics with real-time diagnostics. Available in 13.6m/14.6m lengths (45-52 m³ cargo volume), it offers 28-ton payload capacity and complies with ATP Class C/F, ISO 22000, and EN 12642 XL standards. Ideal for transporting pharmaceuticals, frozen goods, and fresh produce across EU member states.
