Maintenance and upkeep of excavators

The purpose of regular maintenance for excavators is to reduce machine malfunctions, extend machine service life, shorten machine downtime, improve work efficiency, and reduce operating costs.
As long as fuel, lubricants, water, and air are managed properly, 70% of failures can be reduced. In fact, about 70% of failures are caused by poor management.
Daily inspection
Visual inspection: A visual inspection should be conducted before starting the locomotive. Thoroughly inspect the surrounding environment and bottom of the locomotive in the following order:
1. Are there any oil, fuel, and coolant leaks.
2. Are there any loose bolts and nuts.
3. Are there any broken wires, short circuits, or loose battery connectors in the electrical circuit.
4. Is there any oil contamination.
5. Is there any accumulation of civilian property.
